To be a good leader you need to make your goals clear so your followers can listen and follow you appropriately. A good leader needs to make sure that each follower feels valued, as someone who knows that their work is valued will try to do a better job. As whenever I am put into a leadership role, I always make sure everyone knows what they are doing and that they do their job effectively. To have everyone in a group trying to accomplish the same goal is kind of pointless, when you can just break down the project into different sections and get all of the members of the group to preform their specific task with their utmost skill. An example of a very effective leader is the fictional character Captain America. He is often put in charge of leading the Avengers due to his strategic expertise and because he cares for his fellow Avengers and would never give them a task that he knew they were unable of doing. For example, in the first Avengers movie he gives everyone specific tasks that he knows they will be effective at therefore making them feel important, every member of the team is just as important as the others and no one can complete it without the others. “Five years ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends, we lost family, we lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams. You know your missions. Get the stones. Get them back. One round-trip each. No mistakes, no do overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. That doesn’t mean we should know what to expect. Be careful. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives, and we’re gonna win. Whatever it takes. Good luck.” – Captain America
