How does one create a brand? Well, it is not as simple as it may seem, you first need to create a persona and then stick to that persona that you have created. You may not always get it on the first try, some do, others do not, while others knock it out of the park on their first try. Today I am going to talk about one of my favorite brands, that being the Old Spice brand. In the add I have shared they are aiming it towards women telling them to get your man to smell more like the man you want him to be. Your man may not be perfect, but he can strive to be better than he is, and that starts with the smell. Once you smell like the man you can be then and only then, are you able to satisfy that women in your life with the luxuries she so desires. To add another point the colour scheme in the commercial is also placed there for a reason, everything is a light colour insinuating a clean atmosphere which is exactly what Old Spice will do for you, clean you and make you smell nice. Finally, the ad closes out on one of the most catchy jingles a company can come up with making you whistle it again and again once the ad has stopped running, you will want to run to the store to pick up a bottle of Old Spice.
