Superiority and Equality

In my small group discussion in class we talked about superiority and equality. I feel that this is best talked about in the business situation or relating to the work place. I have never really experienced any acts of someone insinuating that they are right because they had a higher up position then myself or treated me poorly because my position was not equal to theirs. But there are a lot of scenarios where people could be treated differently. For instance there is currently a huge push for equality in the world right now, whether that be for women or people of colour. For many years now people have discriminated against the minorities, not giving them equal opportunities even if they were more qualified or better or more things to say. This is a prime example of Superiority and Equality in the work place as a whole race is acting like they are superior to everyone else, when they should be treating them equally because in the end it is the way you act and think that really matters. But even then that does not make you better than anyone else.
